One of the best things about this software is that it's all web based, so you don't have to download anything and you can run it no matter what your computer operating system is. This program calculates the probabilities of all the hands that can be produced from a combination of 2 hole cards and a Flop (and optionally turn and river cards). Best yet, it's freeware and there are no ads!

PlanetPoker Software

This is an excellent tool for determining hand strength for Hold'Em, Stud, and Lowball. This program simulates many hands so that you can determine the win% of your hand vs. other hands. A cool feature is you can add cards to the board, and see how your hand strength changes relative to others, as the board progresses. Very Cool. Plus, it's open source code so you can help make it better should you have the skills to do so.

PokerRoom Software

This downloaded program teaches you to play video poker and charts your winnings and loses. It works basically the same as a hand analyzer and poker chart, but you don't have to fill anything in because it's tracking your progress on the program itself. It sells for $39.99USD, which isn't bad considering it comes with an instructional video at the beginning of the game.

Interpoker Software

Software has created a graphical base to play poker on IRC! IRC is a text based chat room where people hang out online. After the creation of dealer bots (bots are programs that behave like people), he spent a lot of time playing poker online but found it difficult to follow because all the information was a text description of the play. This was his solution and we think it's a great one. This is free software.

This company makes a product called poker charts which you can log into for free, online, through your phone or other mobile devices. The software is pretty in depth and tracks your performance history throughout your poker career. The graphs and analysis it provides are very useful in figuring out your strengths and patterns. It is free for you because it is paid for by advertisers so you may have to deal with being marketed to a bit.
